The Vocal Studio is founded by Tatum D'Souza a singer, performer, teacher and marketing professional with a successful music and media career spanning over 20 years. Trained at the Berklee College of Music, Boston and a certified voice teacher from New York Vocal Coaching School

Teachers like Tatum are very few. She has such a wonderful way with kids with the right combination of patience, encouragement, fun and discipline. In the last three years, she has been instrumental in transforming my son from a shy little boy to a confident young teenager who loves music through her unwavering attention and technical guidance. About Tatum
Music & Professional Journey
Tatum D'Souza, founder and voice teacher at The Vocal Studio has been a professional singer since the age of 3 and trained with celebrated musicians across Mumbai and Goa. She has performed in multiple stage productions and her first original composition and album had over 1 million views on YouTube. She has also been a soprano in one of the leading choirs in Mumbai, The Victory Chorus Line.
She's had a 20 year long successful career in media working for brands like Disney, 20th Century Fox, Discovery Communications where she led the marketing functions for Star Movies, Star World, Channel [v]. During this stint she worked on concerts featuring leading Indian and International artistes like Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar, Shaan, Kailash Kher, Shaggy and many more. She has also been an Executive Producer on the hugely popular show Koffee with Karan.

Teaching Journey
Tatum is a mother of a 12 year old who sings beautifully, plays the piano and the flute. Having seen and experienced the difference music can make to a child she knew it was time to share this joy with others. She began her teaching journey training her daughter's friends at school for singing contests and helped them pursue their love for music. The children excelled at school competitions and one of the bands they formed, The Ones went on to win every major All India interschool band competition including Furtados Band It Competition, Harmony Dehradun, Infusion and many more. Since then there's been no looking back and she continues to share this God given talent and joy of singing among young voices.
